On the occasion of World Whistleblower Day 2024<\/a> Transparency International Italia published its usual annual report<\/a> which summarizes a year of activity on whistleblowing.<\/p>\n\n

2023 was a year of great changes<\/strong> for whistleblowing in Italy and the entry into force of the new legislation extended the scope of the legal institution for reporting offences, completing the discipline dedicated to the public sector and significantly expanding the scope for the private sector.<\/p>\n\n

For this reason, Transparency International Italia’s commitment on various fronts has, as always, been very important and attentive to the needs of all the subjects involved in this institute.<\/p>\n\n

The most substantial activity in 2023 was precisely that carried out with the WhistleblowingIT<\/strong> project to support organizations in setting up internal channels for reporting.<\/div> \n
\n

The other activities carried out and described in this publication concern the support work for those reported with ALAC – Anti-Corruption Alert<\/strong><\/a>, the jurisprudential monitoring<\/strong> of sentences on whistleblower cases and advocacy<\/strong>, which over the last year has focused on analysis of the new Italian legislation and potential violations with respect to the European law.<\/p> \n \n<\/div><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
