Transparency International Italia<\/b> is a non-profit organization part of the global network of Transparency International, the most important anti-corruption NGO worldwide. It was among the first in Italy to deal with whistleblowing<\/b>, when no one was talking about it yet. Over the years the organization has studied this topic in depth and has collaborated with numerous public and private organisations to spread the culture and practice of whistleblowing in Italy and Europe. It also contributed to the approval of the Italian 2017 law to protect whistleblowers. Since 2014, it has maintained ALAC – Anti-Corruption Alert<\/a>, a project through which it receives reports of corruption cases from all citizens.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Whistleblowing Solutions Impresa Sociale S.r.l. <\/b>is an innovative social enterprise that creates, experiments and disseminates innovative software methodologies and technologies for whistleblowing and anti-corruption. The main technology created is the open source GlobaLeaks <\/b>software, the foundation of the WhistleblowingIT project and ALAC, which the company supports and coordinates in its international development.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

GlobaLeaks<\/strong> is free and open source software that allows anyone to install and maintain a reporting platform that guarantees the safety and anonymity of reporting persons. The software is currently used by over 10,000 organizations<\/strong> around the world for different purposes ranging from anti-corruption, corporate compliance, human rights protection and investigative journalism. GlobaLeaks is translated into more than 90 languages to ensure maximum accessibility and the possibility for anyone to report safely.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The WhistleblowingIT<\/strong> project is based on the collaboration between the association Transparency International Italia and the social enterprise Whistleblowing Solutions which, over the years, have developed strong experience on the topic of whistleblowing and on information technologies that can support public and private entities to receive and manage more efficiently the reports of illicit conducts they receive. As part of the project, different digital whistleblowing solutions based on the GlobaLeaks<\/strong> software are offered, to meet the needs of all organisations, both in the public and private sectors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

WhistleblowingPA<\/strong> is the specific project for Public Administrations at the core of this initiative. Project partners\u2019 goal has always been to support all the Italian public entities that struggle in developing an efficient whistleblowing system due to a lack of economic resources, personnel or adequate expertise. Due to these reasons, Transparency International Italia and Whistleblowing Solutions offer and will continue to offer all public administrations a free standard solution compliant with the law and the best international standards.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
